The pupils at the school of St. Michael’s first fight to save the school swimming pool, which was badly leaking, corroded and held in place by the tape.
And the school has a good response in an effort to raise £ 20,000.
Two pupils from the school, Molly and Harriet Baker, swam 250 long between them, along with an olive butter-value.
“This is the first pool-excellent learning that gives children the opportunity to learn to swim in a safe environment, but is now unfortunately nearing the end of his life,” he said.
“It is a sad fact that 95% of fatalities that occurred in the ten-metre safety-we owe it to our children to keep them safe in the water.”
